PL-259 For 1/2″ Superflex

New, FSJ4-50B Andrew 1/2″ “Superflex” PL-259 (Male UHF) RF Heliax Coax Connector.  Replaces Andrew 44ASP.

This solderless, “no special tools required” UHF (PL-259) connector is used for:

Replaces obsolete Andrew 44ASP UHF Male (PL259) connector for FSJ4-50B “Superflex” cable (they DO NOT install on LDF4-50A “standard” 1/2″ Heliax cable).

Over the last two+ years we’ve tested these in high power applications without a single failure.  We like them much, much better than the old Andrew 44ASP UHF Male connectors, and we like them better than any Type N Male connectors as UHF (PL259) have much more center pin contact area for high power UHF applications.

The FSJ4-50B Superflex (or equivalent) center conductor inserts into one way locking tabs in the center nose pin of the PL259, the outer nut securely tightens onto the the threaded spiral corrugated copper shield.
